Narrative :
VMM, the Flemish environmental Agency, has appointed HAEDES to deliver expert advice for the development of a new hydrography module for the new water quality model PEGASE-Flanders. A multidisciplinary team from HAEDES will carry out the assignment including:
- A new selection of watercourses in an integrated model for all Flemish river basins
- A new flow runoff model for reference years 2020 and 2021 consistent with this new model domain.
- Particular attention will be given to model and update control rules for infrastructure and existing abstractions.
The new hydrography model will form a solid base for developing the Pegase water quality model in the coming years.
